The composition is exactly the same as the original fabric. The yarn is made by combining two strands, resulting in a soft and delicate feel with a noticeable fluffiness. One thing to note is that the ‘cashmere cotton’ yarn made according to the original design cannot be dyed directly as fabric; each thread must be dyed individually, which takes a very long time. Just adjusting the color card takes 15 days, and it took us over 70 days to complete the yarn preparation! Knitting process: Main body knitting, following the original design using a “single-face” technique. To make the texture smoother and more even, we used an imported single-system 14-gauge flat knitting machine. This fine work is twice as slow as common domestic systems, with double the production cost. The finished pieces are as detailed as the original and won’t have issues like slanted pieces or wave flaws seen on domestic machines. The entire garment takes nearly 180 minutes to complete. We use a German-imported STOLL flat knitting machine, known for high stitch precision, producing finer knitting—this is the machine used for high-end luxury goods! Embroidery process: The chest letter embroidery pattern is scanned and recreated 1:1 by an experienced craftsman. Small embroidery details were modified repeatedly over 7 versions to ensure accuracy. The size and material of the chest pattern match the original. We use imported Tajima embroidery machines and imported ‘Coats’ sewing thread, making the embroidery lines denser and more beautiful!
